I'm just glad that I've used Maya for 24 years. I haven't been consistent, so I am not as far along as I'd like to be looking at these clips you're playing. But then too, there's another possibility. One can be a professional creative (as I am) and surprise them with your 3D skills incorporated where it's not expected. Others are starting to learn 3D, but you remain most knowledgeable. But now that there's Blender and AI...I don't know what people are impressed by. That was even noted here, "A kid using Blender..." Ugh.

do you have any idea how much GDP India makes by exporting software and digital services, you mentioned what Marvel is doing but didn't mention what Microsoft, amazon, google, and every product and service company in Silicon Valley has been doing for decades. how could developed countries be called developed countries without third-world countries and their services? maybe in the future Africa might also provide services more than mines and minerals who knows i usually like this channel for topics like ancient sofweres and blender addon offers and other cool news stuff... but ... It's all about labor cost. Build a car in Detroit, or Mexico. Which is more "cost effective?" Same, or similar skills, lower cost. Period. That's business.

This video forgets to mention the most important point: a boss can easily "fire" an outsourced company from a third world country. This is very hard to do in especially Europe. Even threatening someone with firing them in EU can be a crime in some countries. But, one can always cut the connection with a 3rd world country company and hire a new one in 5 minutes, as there is huge competition and there is no one to defend the hired company's rights. Also, a boss can easily demand more work, like 15h/day and the outsourced boss will gladly whip their workers for the EU/USA boss. The very same boss, who is slaving the 3rd world company, can not even loudly express his/her thoughts about how the slaves should work 15 hours a day because it would be another crime.

First they crashed the boarder illegally and you said to your countrymen that no one is illegal while you made obscene profits for your 401Ks by depressing wages then, they outsourced your job and you said that they are stealing our jobs. Well, you reap what you sow.

I think any digital job will eventually go to India or similar countries unless you really really standout. Like there was definitely a problem recently with Marvel VFX cause the people working on their projects were just not enough, thus VFX artists were overworked while outcome still being mediocre. So only solution is to increase the number of people working on the project, but that will increase the budget of the film massively. so the only solution remaining is going to Country like India where you can literally double/triple the people working on a film and still be under budget.

This is hilarious i still don't know EXACTLY their industry standard definitions...0:10...my thought process...textures make up materials, and materials make up a shader...and the shader goes on the model/static mesh/character...i usually just call em textures...cause in the end the only thing that matters is how good it looks 🤣🤣🤣 Edit: 8:06...ya lost me bud...all thats above my pay grade...i just use Unreal Engine...and whatever shader it uses works just fine...i Don't ever intend to code my own shader...

EEVEE shadows are bad and global illumination is also like in games, fast but not good quality. Marmoset is better for rendering. UE5 is also better, you can use path tracing or Lumen, that has better shadows and GI. In Blender I think Cycles is good, EEVEE can be an option if you can't pay for marmoset or your work doesn't need it, or UE5 is too complicated for you. UE5 has some issues Blender doesn't have when it comes to setting up a scene, but for a game artist, understanding a real game engine is a plus. Judging only EEVEE for what it is capable of, it is far behind Marmoset and UE5.

We used to say; Max for architecture, Maya for animation.. But now everything you can think of is available in Blender and it's FREE! I bought a 3dsmax license once and I regretted spending so much money on that software, it's a complete waste...

This is a very annoying tutorial since the mouse is invisible. Whenever you tell me something I need to do- you assume I know the words. I am unable to then cross-reference to the video since the mouse is practically invisible.
